The Wound, an acidic Black Sea, has shut off the uplifted island republic of Udane from the rest of the globe. Udane is a nation virtually devoid of civic law and order, filled with banished mortals from the realms of Urn, where existence rests on one's ability to command the land, its creature, or its magic.

Travel the lands of Udane using the hex map provided with the game or explore a completely random landscape by using a blank hex map, the Navigation Table, and a multitude of custom Encounter Tables. Discover new locations, explore dangerous lairs, and craft new Lore for your table

Survive

The lands of Udane are filled with the feral beast, mythical beings, and of course the most dangerous creatures to ever exist, other mortals! Every day could be a vessel last and a moment of Tension is never too far from the edges of safety, celebrate every breath because there’s no telling when trouble will find you.

Quest

Shape your path by completing Arcane Contracts for the mortals of Udane, each contract completed or failed to shape the story as well as the world. From the smallest of favors for peasant farmers to the grandest of quests handed down by mighty faction leaders, every contract can create a ripple in the story and inspire a new direction for the Vessels.

Claim

Gain allies and conquer territory as you adventure, gathering resources, working the land, and leaving a mark on the world and its history. On your next adventure through Udane use the same map to create a constantly evolving land filled with legacies and lineages.

 Escape

Solve the strange mystery surrounding The Mound and escape Udane, venturing beyond its ever-shifting borders and discovering the ancient secrets of the “Above” and “Below”, thought to be the lands of the gods by some and the planes of lost souls by others.

Will the lands of Udane swallow you whole? Will you be a conqueror or a prophet? Will you bring true change to Udane or just be a part of its endless cycle?
